Okay, to start, 579 is a rural county backroad that runs north to south in New Jersey. It stretches from Warren to Mercer County, but this blog will focus mainly on CR 579 in Hunterdon County, where a majority of this road is located.
What is so blog worthy about 579? This county route is breathtaking and shows the true face of our garden state. Through this publication, and mainly this road, I want to show the world the beauty and fun New Jersey has to offer.
A little bit about myself: My name is Danielle Fol and I live in Hunterdon County, which is more country than most of the state, and learned of CR 579 through friends who told me, “Stop taking the highways, just go 579.”
